Reminisce Kits

PTPLD has six different MEternally Reminisce Kits available for checkout. These kits are a great resource for individuals with dementia or memory loss and their caregivers. Each kit includes double-sided photo and activity cards, and a DVD containing several videos that are created for the enjoyment of those with dementia, their caregivers and family in order to provide comfort and inspire connections and conversation through reminiscence.

Reminisce kits can be checked out for 1 week at a time. Please visit the Adult Reference desk or the Circulation desk to request a reminisce kit.

The 1950s Collection accompanies the DVD and can be used independently from the DVD. The set includes 12 double sided Remembering the 1950s cards which feature a vintage photo along with historic information and description.  There are also 12 double sided reminiscence photo cards and 16 double sided 1950s fashion cards which includes a matching activity.  The cards are of high quality stock and laminated for extra protection. The extra large cards measure 5 x 7" each with rounded corners.
