There are twenty-three (23) public access computers available in the Adult Reference section, and six (6) public access computers available in the Youth Services section of the library. The library also offers access to the Internet through a wireless network that can be accessed by all patrons on their own devices as well as library devices.
An active library card at Prairie Trails Public Library District or any other SWAN library permits self-service use at the Adult Reference public access computers. Cardholders whose accounts are blocked due to fines or any other reason will be automatically barred from accessing the internet. Juvenile PTPLD patrons whose parents have granted permission to access the internet may use the Adult Reference public access computers. All other juvenile patrons may only use Youth Services public access computers.
Users that do not have an active PTPLD or other SWAN library card may be issued a guest login at the Circulation Desk. A photo ID is required in order to obtain a guest login. Users without photo ID may use the 10-minute walk-up public access computer near the front entrance of the library.
