The Prairie Trails Public Library District building will remain closed until further notice. The safety of staff and patrons is our priority. Even though our building will be closed to the public, we will start offering curbside pickup starting June 1st . The hours of curbside pickup will be 10-6 Monday through Thursday, and 10-4 on Fridays and Saturdays (weather permitting). Items that are currently on our hold shelf will be available first. Items in transit and items we hold locally will be available shortly thereafter. More information will be posted on our website. Starting June 1st we also will be available for telephone reference. Youth and Adult Services staff will be available to assist you during the same hours. This summer we are taking precautions due to COVID-19, our summer reading programs will be held online, a reading log can be found within this newsletter. We have changed our programs to be held online to keep everyone safe. Please visit our website for updates. You can access all our electronic resources 24 hours a day using your library card. If you currently do not have a card, you can register for a digital library on our website. We will be collecting checked out materials at curbside, during hours listed above. Our drop box will remain closed for the time being. All items will be quarantined after we receive them. Due dates have been extended through July, late fees and fines will be waived upon return. *Please note that June 1st is the anticipated date dependent on local and state assessment of risk.
